The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to carry out awareness-raising activities with projects that prioritize public health in the capital. Health Affairs Department, Turkish Association of Audiologists and Speech Disorder Specialists, in cooperation with Hacettepe University Department of Audiology, organized free “hearing assessment test” for citizens in the health booth at the exit of Kızılay, Koru and Batıkent metro stations on “March 3, World Ear and Hearing Day”.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many projects in order to protect public health and aims to raise awareness in society through awareness-raising activities, carried out hearing tests at different points in the capital on “March 3, World Health Day. ‘ear and hearing’.

“COME LISTEN, PREVENT HEARING LOSS”
Inviting citizens to take a free hearing test with the theme “Come listen to us, prevent hearing loss” to raise awareness of hearing problems, raise public awareness and ensure that future generations are healthy , Seyfettin Aslan, head of the health affairs department, mentioned:
“As part of March 3, World Ear and Hearing Day, we are working to raise awareness with services that prioritize public health. If precautions are not taken in children and adults, this disease, which will become a significant health problem, is prevented by measures that can be taken. With the necessary information, we perform the hearing test in cooperation with Hacettepe University. As our President Mansur has always said, “Every life has value in the capital”.
President of Turkish Association of Audiologists and Speech Disorders and Head of Department of Audiology at Hacettepe University. Dr. Gonca Sennaroğlu also drew attention to the importance of taking a hearing test and made the following assessments:
